DU 7 Left

I am an authentic,proud leftist. Those who abuse and make judgmental statements about leftism and those who misuse the concept are ignorant people do not know the origin and the history of the term. the origin of the term is a historical coincidence/accident. During the French revolution, by sheer coincidence, the pro-monarchy, conservative, status-quoits were sitting in the right flank of the national assembly and the pro-change, progressive anti-monarchy members were sitting in the left flank of the national assembly. Ever since the term left is used for pro-change, progressive forces and right for the conservative, status-quoits. If an agent of power that be in an unjust system claims to be leftist, it proves the theoretical victory of leftism in the same way as if the agents of capital like Mulayam claim to be socialist is theoretical victory of socialism  or if a believer tries to prove some superstition to be scientific, is theoretical victory of science..
