Red salute to Com Kalundia

A great hero of anti-displacement movement is no more, died of Kidney failure. Red Salutes Com, Kalundia shall miss you for ever. Unbelievable, so sad, great loss to the anti-displacement movement, grief becomes more if you personally know the deceased.  We knew each other so well ever since March 2006, when we had gone for our first fact finding into Police firing on anti-displacement protesters, killing 14, Dabar along with Rabindra Jharika were 2 pillars and organic intellectuals of the heroic kalinganagar movement, that blocked a national highway for over a year. I met Dabar in my every every subsequent visit to kalinganagar, including on every 2nd January to participate in Bisthapan Birothi Mahasammelan as martyrdom day  to commemorate the martyrs of the movement. Demise of Com Dabar Kalandia is a personal loss to me like Com Rajendra Sadangi's untimely demise. Close to Dabar Com Sadangi was a coordinating axis between anti-displacement movements in general, and of Odisha  in particular. Lal Salam Com dabar Kalundia.
