ये जो नन्ही सी गुड़िया है

ये जो नन्ही सी गुड़िया है

अनंत संभावनाओं की पुड़िया है

भरेगी आहिस्ता-आहिस्ता नई उड़ान

गढ़ेगी निरंतर नये नये आसमान

बनेगी अनोखी विप्लवी जहीन

ओझल न होगी आंखों से मगर जमीन

उतारेगी मन में ग़म-ए-जहां की पीड़ा

होगा इंकिलाब इस कन्या की क्रीड़ा

बढ़ती-पढ़ती-कढ़ती-लड़ती जायेगी

मानवत-मुक्ति को मक्सद बनायेगी

ऊंघते आवाम को गीतों से जगायेगी

ले साथ उसे नया विहान लायेगी

फैलायेगी जंग-ए-आज़ादी का पैगाम

इतिहास में जोड़ेगी नया आयाम

आज की तुकबंदी इस बेटी के नाम

करेगी जो ज़ुल्मत का काम तमाम

This tender little doll

 the epitome  of infinite potentialities

would take a new flight slowly and slowly

would continually create newer skies

and shall acquire the unique revolutionary wisdom

in her flight beyond the skies

shall never lose the sight of the ground

shall imbibe the agonies of the human miseries

and shall excel in the sport of the revolution

shall march on with revolutionary zeal

growing with the dictum of study and struggle

shall make the human emancipation the goal of life

shall awaken the masses from their slumber with her songs

and along with them shall usher into a new dawn

shall ubiquitously spread the message of human emancipation

this poem is dedicated to this little one

who shall end the era of injustice and oppression
