God is the biggest fraud, in teenage while transitioning from a staunch ritualistic religiosity to questioning those rituals, I challenged God (Till then I was not sure about the God being an imaginary concept, earlier many times I asked his help, once finding a lemon that had got misplaced, he could not help) many times but He could do nothing, since then I am unbothered about the concept of God. All the communities create their own idioms/phrases/religions/gods-goddesses according to their historical needs. Religion and God have been most effective tools in the hands pof Patriarchy and the ruling classes. Machiavelli, a non-religious political philosophers advises the prudent prince to ensure the observance of religion as it helps keeping people loyal and united, more over fear of the Prince may transcend into the fear of God.
