Neo-Machiavellianism 1

The founder of to be founded "real" BJP, Jaswant Singh, after denial of ticket to him, suddenly realized  that the BJP has becomme fake. Both the BJPs -- the real and fake-- are fake in terms of Janta of its name. If look at the dictators of the history. I am planning a write up on Neo-Machiavellian princes (planning is no guaranty of happening). The armed conquest of Renaissances absolutism  has been replaced by electoral conquest of our neo-liberal corporate absolutism. First target of a dictator-in-making is  the internal claimants and supposedly the kingmakers, those who have closely watched and/or helped him growing from humble background to princedom and know it well that he is just like one of them.. They are the biggest dangers. Eliminate them through power ans populism acquired by whatever means, as for Machiavelli, end justifies the means, Indira Gandhi did that. Her populism was relatively progressive, at least in theory, promise them the sky and only foolish princes will keep the words. Just that keep them hoping on the principles of kill quickly, reward gradually. GARIBI HATAO rhetoric worked like a magic.  The Prince has to be sen like moving towards fulfilling the promises. Garibi hatao rhetoric was combined with actions like abolition of previ-purse and the nationalization of the banks. Many socialists and communists joined her bandwagon "to wreck the system from within' and got wrecked themselves. The first target before splitting the party before splitting is were so-called king makers -- the Syndicate. After splitting the party in 1969 aided and by the war patriotism, in 1971 (Even I, as a 16 year old boy also was her admirer), she eliminated all the bigwigs-- Moararji/Kamraj/Chandraban Gupta ets, sending them to political exile. Rarely few reappeared like Morarji for a very brief existence.  Modi has stupid sense of history but is keen observer of real politic. He has already eliminated and send them to political exile equipped with the sense humiliation in helplessness. The new entrants from various outfits who have joined under Modi wave have no where to go at least for some time as know that their existence as MPs is due to him and the new plannings. But at times, owing to unpredictable reasons,  the Princes may not succeed and there is change in the person of Machiavelli's protagonist. The majority of MPs -- Present and the past Congressmen/women might come together and the tactics may snowball/backfire.
