International proletariat 65 (CPUSA)

This a comment on my Hindi translation of a poem by a US Com

Andrew Taylor 26 people have liked your poem on my fb time line and 25 have viewed on my Blog. People want to have new but we (The left) are fractured, factioned and confused. I do not understand, why people compromise at an age when they have nothing to gain but lose the credibility of long acquired activism. Many veterans in their last phases of lives get disillusioned; become defeatist and not all but many compromise for nothing. Revolution is continuous process, every generation has to contribute its share with faith in the next generations. Two things are required for revolution -- revolutionary circumstances and revolutionary force. Revolutionary circumstances in terms of crisis of the system and discontent among the people prevail in many countries but organized revolutionary forces are missing. Capitalism shall end, as per the law of dialectical materialism, anything that exists is destined to end but when and how cannot be predicted. I do not know, whether I have been able to do justice with your poem, but have tried. I have given footnote on Sam, as not many people know if there is still a CP in the US! I planned to write a philosophical piece on Sam Web' moving from CPUSA to Democratic party. Till the McCarthian, "patriotic" red hunding, the left in the US was a force to reckon with, politically; intellectually and culturally. Well, presently most of the official CPs are in pathetic condition ideologically and politically; the 'independent left' cannot do anything substantial except participating in demos and rallies. That is why there is need of new formation on Marxist principles, translated into the context of neoliberal capitalism that is no more geocentric in terms of source and investment.
