There is no uniform category of Americans (for that matter there is no uniform category of Indians/Mexicans/English.....)--there are revolutionaries and rascals. The biggest block in changing the equation of 1:99 is property less petty bourgeois, the middle class who get crumbs from the surplus appropriation and imperialist plunder to be able to enjoy ruling class privileges. This class who by definition comes under the category of working class but by being able to enjoy the ruling class commodified privileges, harbor the illusion of being part of ruling classes, i.e. capitalists. Andre Gunter Frank calls this class of imperialist lackeys as lumpen bourgeois class.
