Aristotle

Aristotle was a philosopher of his contemporary status-quo and hence the defender of inequalities including those arising  from the institutions of slavery and patriarchy with the arguments of their being "natural" that were/are, in fact,  particularly socialized "unnaturalities". Nevertheless, he was a great  scholar and incisive thinker. Some of his generalizations are noteworthy and appear to be universally contemporary.

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” - Aristotle

“हम वही हैं जो हम निरंतर करते हैं। उत्कृष्टता, इसलिए, कोई एक बार का काम नहीं, बल्कि एक आदत है। ” - अरस्तु
