Confusion is a better state than that of false clarity but this state must be utilized to arrive at relative clarity. Like good and evil, correctness too is not attribute  of metaphysics but of social-physics and like good and evil it too is not absolute but relative.for me is not a technical/legal notion but a moral concept and is decided in context and on the merit of issue. You would arrive at fairer decision by juxtaposition and unceasingly questioning anything and everything, honestly, democratically and transparently. Humans are distinct from other creation due to their faculty of ability to improve through consciously directed actions. The conscious direction comes from balancing the equilibrium between 2 vital human attributes -- reason and conscience. I will share a personal experience. I was warden of the hostel. There is 2% quota for ph category that would come to maximum 2 admissions. But these students need a hostel more than normal ones and hence I did not follow the technicalities and admitted all the applicants from the category and consider to have  have acted correctly despite its technical illegalities. The idea of correctness comes from unceasing application of mind.
