This is comment on when should parents stop spanking the children.
Spanking children is inhuman act that causes irreparable damage to the child is born out of stupid understanding of discipline and the child's long term interest. Just remember your childhood and feeling among old of not being cared by their children. We, the parents, not having gone through the process of 'unlearning' to replace the 'acquired moralities' by the 'rational' ones, subconsciously sadistically transfer our childhood agonies into our children. I am a proud father of 2 daughters. I never burdened them with over-caring; over protection; and any expectation apart from growing up as good human beings, rest would follow as inadvertent consequences and never indulged in the wasteful exercise of controlling their freedom. As far as means of survival is concerned, If someone like Ish mishra, a good-for-nothing, can do one thing or the other, everyone would be able to do something and fight it out. In general, every next generation is always smarter barring the periods of historical stagnation. What the parents/teachers should, rather ought to do apart from blunting innovative; inquisitive; rebel attributes and instilling in them a sense of unknown abstract fear and insecurity; lack of sense of self-belief and confidence, I will write in a different comment.
