In a class divided society, non-partisanship is a fraud, class-war is already on for quite long, you have to take sides. those who think they are neutral and apolitical, knowing-unknowingly, are dangerously political in the way that eventually serves the interests of the ruling classes -- the imperialist global capital, in the present context. the heavily fund-needing representative democracy provides the illusion of peoples' government and not the peoples' government and thrives. Not the government but the system needs to be changed and peoples' democracy is the only alternative.
