On a comment on my post on teacher's day:
Sushil Yadav: Industrial revolution was revolution indeed, its capitalist path was accidental that determined and characterized the epoch. It is not the industrialization but its capitalization has to be blamed for cruelly injuring this planet. The history cannot be reversed, past of 'primitive glory' cannot be restored but future can be more humanly shaped by destroying the present system, the CAPITALISM, by proletarian revolution. The industrial revolution is not destroying the planet and exploiting its inhabitants, but its capitalist path. The injustice is epochal that can be undone by epochal change from capitalism to communism by destroying the private ownership of the means of production through proletarian revolution via the dictatorship of proletariat. I agree with you that present education does not give knowledge, but equip students with information and skill necessary to maintain the system. Education is the most powerful ideological apparatus of the state. Knowledge is power and no ruling class can afford to empower its people, that would be self detrimental. But the mainstream knowledge system provides space for alternative systems as mind is a creatively active element and cannot be confined into course-curriculum limits. It rebels and creates, as to rebel is to create and to create is to rebel.
