A comment on a post of an American Comrade:
Right wing "nationalism" is aggressively vocal with mainstream media at its disposal, the radical intellectuals have to reach the masses and that needs organized effort. The claimants of revolutionary legacy are factioned and fractured, each with holier than thou belief. In India, there are over dozen ML groups apart from 3 parliamentary parties and the under ground CPI(Maoist), effective in the mountainous forested tribal belt of central India. Marx and Lenin both emphasize on the precondition of revolutionary circumstances, need is to hasten the arrival of circumstances through mass struggles on the particular issues directly affecting the working class. Through participation in struggles they would be able to comprehend the contradictions and would equip themselves with revolutionary consciousness and would become from a 'limp of mass' -- class-in-itself -- to an organized revolutionary force -- class-for-itself. Because it is the people (workers) who would bring about the revolution. I am not being pessimist, just self-critical.
