एक मित्र ने इनबॉक्स में ब्राह्मणवादी जाति व्यवस्था पर एक सटीक कविता पोस्ट किया. मेरी तारीफ से उत्साहित, उन्होनें लिखा Brahmans must be eliminated, यह एक जायज, स्वाभाविक प्रतिक्रिया है. दलित चेतना अौर दावेदारी के अग्रगामी अभियान ने जातिवादी वर्चस्व के विरुद्ध सैद्धांतिक विजय हासिल कर ली है. अगला चरण दलित चेतना का जनवादीकरण होना चाहिए पर नवउदारवादीकरण हो रहा है. मेरा जवाबः

Not Brahmans need to be eliminated but Brahmanism -- the caste system. Assessment of person and personality attributes on the basis of the coincidence of birth is the basic principle of Brahmanism, doing that is getting trapped in Brahmanical paradigm. The ruling the  ruling castes have been classes too.  The hegemony  is   maintained by ideological tools that affects the victim and  perpetrator simultaneously. Brahmanism was the ideological tool of caste system and hegemony.  Present ruling classes are the global corporate oligarchy with neo-liberalism as its ideology. The ruling classes always project the minor contradiction as the contradiction to blunt the edge of the major contradiction. Anti casteism has acquired theoretical victory like feminism. Biggest casteist cant dare to say that he believes in casteism in the same way that no father can say that he distinguishes b/w son and daughter. Once theoretical victory is achieved its realization is matter of time. The privatization of public sector and education is making reservation meaningless. The need of the hour is radicalization of anti-cast movement that I call the collective consciousness of the oppressed into class consciousness to provide intellectual and political leadership to the oppressed -- the peasants and workers.   जातिवाद का एक जवाब -इंकिलाब ज़िंदाबाद.
