Would the US military soldiers would fire on American citizens? They certainly will. This is true of soldiers of any country/monarchy across the time and the space. They are trained to fire on orders from those who think on their behalf on enemy, who the enemy is they do not know, nor is their concern. The identity of the enemy is determined by the people sitting in Secure palaces/fortresses or white houses. They have been told just to act and not think/question. Whenever they think/question there are revolts.As yet the history of civilization has been that of poor killing the poor. American poor is paying for and killing Iraqi/Afgani/... poor. Indian army does that in its "disturbed area" under a draconian Act giving special powers to armed forces.
