Religion is an ideology, a false consciousness and have been the most effective political instrument in the hands of ruling classes. All the religions are regressive as they blunt the reason at the altar of unquestioned and unconditional faith, Hinduism is most regressive as in other religions, like Islam and Christianity, have at least theoretical possibilities of equality, in Hinduism people are born unequal, courtesy Brahmaji.
