Education and health care must be uniform for all must be state responsibility. Private educational and medical institutions must be immediately nationalized and the rich/corporate heavily taxed to redistribute the un-earned and moribund wealth of the rich. But do not expect it from Obama. Both the major parties of the USA have concurrence of interest on all the major issues of national/global concerns. Both compete in imperialist warmongering squandering enormous social wealth and destroying/ruining/distorting invaluable human lives. Just think of the picture posted on fb showing 2 Belgian peacekeepers happily roasting a Somali boy. Why do the most soldiers coming back from brutal imperialist war campaigns turn out to be psychic cases? Both compete in facilitating the profit making by the monopoly-corporate giants and their imperialist plunder. Therefore as long as people do not become conscious of their rights and organized powers and establish popular sovereignty in the spirit (not in the content) Rousseau's General Will deleting the dividing line between the ruler and the ruled, there cant be any qualitative change in the conditions of common people by shunting between Bushes and Obamas.
