Raghavendra Das: DN Jha is a historian and RSS is a rumor spreading syndicate that propagates mythological legends as history. The historian's speculation is supported by facts and reasoned, reasonable arguments and RSS propagandist's speculation is based on concocted myths and manufactured rumors. It is a proven and established historical fact that the Rigvedic Aryans  had oral tradition of knowledge through generations and had not learnt the art of writing till around Budha's time. If Mahabharat was written, it must have been written after that. Till the time of Kautilya Krishna was not even an Aryan legendary hero forget about Lord. While advisng the Vijigishu(would be conquerer) to pray to Gods(Vedic gods -- the natural FORCES -- for blessings of success and also to demons forprotection from calamities, Kautilya puts Kans and Krishna together in the  bracket of demons. Meghasthnese, writing almost at the same time mentions him as a local legendary figure of the Sursen (Mathura) region. tone, connotation and tenor of the language and values of Gita (that I am reading once again after 45 years) are so different than the rest of Mahabharat a compilation of variety of stories and legends.It is an interpolation at a later period to counter Budhist rationality with irrational absolute faith in and unquestioned, unconditional devotion to some self-claimed super power.

it is a comment on a DU group:

no one is abusing Hinduism that is an imaginary community but when I say that Brahmanism has been responsible not only  for the degradation of the society and over thousand years intellectual stagnation but also weakening it to be easy prey to foreign aggressors by reserving the right to arms and education to a minuscule minority and subjecting the vast working population to inhuman conditions, I am making a self criticism. No one is condemning Gita but just critically analyzing it as a text as it has come down to us. It is a text that eulogize and prescribe absolute, unseasoned faith and unconditional devotion over critical, is detached objectivity; reason and rationality. It discourages and demotes application of mind that distinguishes humans from animal kingdom. It prescribes the observance of Varnashram Dharma. Critical analysis    is not abuse but honor of the text.

The men/women of action do not waste the time in reading and thinking. The HINDUTVA scholars directing the RSS pedagogy carry forward the Vedic tradition  of SHRUTI-GYAN and do not read, not even the texts they consider consisting of all natural/super natural knowledge of all the time, for their propaganda they depend on hearsay, mythological superstitions and rumors. Had they read Mahabharat or Gita they would have have known that it was a late interpolation on Mahabhararat and is conversation between 2 characters of an epic that is 6 times in size than the homer-Hesiod put together and is considered by historians and linguists to have been composed over a long period of time but not prior to Budha's time when our Rigvedic ancestors learnt the art of writing. It is a conversation in conversation in which one character claiming to be supernatural hero convinces the hero to stop application of mind and get into the acts of slaying people including close relatives. Despite the pretentious preachings of morality and selflessness and bla bla... The thrust is  unquestioned and unconditional faith and devotion -- the basic requirements for the continuance of despotism and oligarchies.

ABILITY TO TRANSCEND THE IDENTITY EMANATING FROM THE BIOLOGICAL ACCIDENT OF BIRTH;  2. APPLICATION OF MIND THAT DISTINGUISHES HUMANS FROM THE ANIMAL KINGDOM TO KNOW THAT IN CAPITALISM ONLY CAPITALIST CAN ACCUMULATE, OTHERS, LIVING ON WAGES, HOWSOEVER HIGHLY PAID OR CORRUPT EXECUTIVE (THE LUMPEN BOURGEOIS, LIVING ON WAGES AND HARBORING THE ILLUSION OF BEING PART OF THE RULING CLASSES), CAN BE ONLY UNDER THE ILLUSION OF ACCUMULATION -- ONE IS FORCED TO CONCLUDE THAT THE PERCENTAGE OF HIGHLY "EDUCATED" DUFFERS IS HIGHER THAN THEIR UNEDUCATED/LESS EDUCATED COUNTERPARTS.

लल्ला पुराण 179 (शिीक्षा अौर ज्ञान 42)

Akshay Bhatt बहुत दिनों से सोच रहा था यह बिन मांगी सलाह देने को, लेकिन समय नहीं मिला. किसी सार्थक विमर्श की शुरुअात परिभाषा से होती है, अमूर्त, अपरिभाषित शब्दों की जुमलेबाजी, अर्थहीन,भावुक, लफ्फाजी बनकर रह जाती है. अाप तो राजनीतिक दर्शन के विद्यार्थी हैं. राष्ट्रवाद की परिभाषा जाने बिना अाप राष्ट्रवादी हैं, अौर मानवता जाने बिना मानवतावादी. शासकवर्ग के रूप में पूंजीवाद के उदय के साथ नवोदित शासक वर्ग की जरूरतों के अनुसार नई शासन व्यवस्था के रूप में राष्ट्र-राज्य अस्तित्व में अाया अौर राष्ट्रवाद की विचारधारा गढ़ी गयी. ज़िल्द देककर ही समीक्षा लिख देने की हमारी अाम अादत है, इससे बचिये. राष्ट्रवाद एक अाधुनिक अवधारणा जिसे शासकवर्गों के बुद्धिजीवी जानबूझकर अमूर्त अौर अबूझ रखते हैं. अाप राष्ट्रवादी हैं, मोदीजी हिंदू राष्ट्रवादी हैं, अाप दोनों के राष्ट्रवाद में कोई समानता है क्या? उसी तरह मानवतावाद भी नारे के पहले परिभाषित होनी चाहिये. 1 पोस्ट में अापने मानवतावाद के अध्ययन श्रोत के रूप में दीनदयाल उपाध्याय के समग्र मानवतावाद का ज़िक्र किया है, जिसे या त अापने पढा नहीं है या भक्तिभाव से पढ़ा है. यह पुस्तक मनु को मानव इतिहास का सर्वश्रेष्ठ न्यायविद अौर मनुस्मृति को दैविक ग्रंथ बताती है. समतामूलक बौद्ध अांदोलन अौर दर्शन पर "मातृधर्म" के साथ गद्दारी का अारोप लगाती है जिसकी "विकृतियों" को शंकराचार्य ने दुरुस्त किया. इसे स्वस्थ अालोचनात्मक सलाह के रूप में लें, मेरे जिज्ञासु, युवा मित्र, काफी दार-ओ-मदार है अाप सब पर. अाज की जरूरत सांस्कृतिक क्रांति की है -- जनचेतना के जनवादीकरण की, जिसकी अावश्यक शर्त है विचारों से लैस होना. जरूरत राष्ट्रवादी होने की नहीं, राष्ट्रवाद के पाखंड को खंडित रने की है. समझना होगा कि पेप्सी बेचने वाले क्रिकेट टीम के11 लड़के भारत नहीं हैं, जिन्हें हराकर अास्ट्रेलिया ने भारत को धूल चटा दिया.

पतनशील पत्नी

देखो तो जरा इस पतनशील पत्नी के रंग-ढंग

पहुंच गया मयखाने तक पतितपन का रंग

किया इसने पहले तो मनु महराज का निषेध

मिल शूद्रों के साथ पढ़ने लगी अनधिकृति वेद

इससे भी होता नहीं राष्ट्रवाद को इतना खेद

भूल गयी यह तो मगर औरत-मर्द का भेद

खिंचाती है जाम छलकाती खुद की तस्वीर

संस्कृति के पहरुए कब तक धरेंगे धीर?

इसी लिये बनाया था मनु महराज ने कानून ऐसे

आज़ादी के ज़ुनून से बचाई जा सके औरत जिससे

बचपन में रहे वह अपने पूज्य पिता के अधीन

मालिक बने पति परमेश्वर होते ही औरत हसीन

खतरे भांप लिया था उनने औरत की आज़ादी के

कुलक्षण है जो पुरुखों की पावन परंपरा की बर्बादी के

हो जांय पतिदेव उसके जब ईश्वर को प्यारे

कटेगा कलंकित वैधव्य तब बेटों के सहारे

लगती है औरत को जब आज़ादी की आदत

ढाती है गौरवशाली मनुवादी संस्कृति पर आफ़त

किया गोलवल्कर ने जब अपना विचार-पुंज पेश

फैलाने को फिरकापरस्ती के पावन-पुनीत संदेश

बताया मनु महराज को इतिहास सर्वोच्च न्यायविद्

और कहा मनुस्मृति है कानून का सवोत्तम संविद

औरत की आज़ादी ही नहीं शिक्षा भी है खतरनाक

पढ़ी-लिखी औरतें करती ऐसी ही हरकतें शर्मनाक

सतयुग की महान नारी पति का माल होती थी

इंसानों की मंडी में बिकने पर भी नहीं रोती थी

त्रेता में होने लगा संदेह उसके सतीत्व पर

मिटाती थी जिसे वह चलकर अंगारों पर

रह जाता ग़र फिर भी संदेह किसी के मन में

स्वीकारती थी निर्वासन खुशी-खुशी किसी वन में

द्वापर में भी नारी नहीं हुयी थी इतना पतित

करती नहीं थी पति को उसे जुए के दांव से वंचित

कलयुग की नारी का देखो यह पतनशील हाल

करने लगी मनुस्मृति की पवित्र संहिता पर सवाल

करती है मर्दों की बराबरी करने का बवाल

करती नहीं सीता-सावित्री के इतिहास का खयाल

पढ-लिख कर जो चार पैसा कमाने लगी

पतिव्रता की पवित्रता से दूर भटकने लगी

इसीलिये मनु ने लगाया था नारी-शिक्षा पर रोक

पढ़-लिख कर ये बकती हैं कुछ भी बेरोकटोक

लेकिन है देश में अभी भी बची यही गनीमत

करती नहीं ज्यादातर मर्यादा तोड़ने की हिम्मत

पतनशील पत्नियों का है दुनियां में अल्पमत

फैलेगा ग़र पतनशीलता का रोग संक्रामक बनकर

कहर बरप जायेगा मर्दवाद के प्राचीन दुर्ग पर

वैसे तो पतनशीलता अंतर्निहित है हमारे इतिहासबोध में

चोटी से शुरू होकर गिरते जाते हैं काल की अंधेरी खोह में

कह गये हैं ऋषिमुनि पहले ही यह पवित्र बात

चरमोत्कर्ष से होती हमारी संस्कृति की शुरुआत

सतयुग था हमारी गौरशाली संस्कृति का उत्कर्ष

कलियुग की तरफ बढ़ता रहा पतनशील निष्कर्ष

सतयुग था ऐसा स्वर्णयुग महान

खुली बाजार में बिकते थे इंसान

होगा ही एक दिन पतनशील पत्नियों का बहुमत

आयेगी उस दिन गौरवशाली मर्दवाद की शामत.
