Every next generation is always smarter as it consolidates and builds upon the achievements of the previous generations and the exceptions of stagnate societies, only prove the rule. Only obscurantists would give the regressive judgmental statements that our distant ancestors were wiser than us and the final truth and knowledge lie in what they have already said in mythological and historical worlds. The dynamics of history evolves its own laws, unpredictable by astrological knowledge and ignorance.
